This initiative represents the latest endeavor to establish more rigorous intelligence metrics. Previously, investigators from the Center for AI Safety, including distinguished researcher Yoshua Bengio, published alternative AGI frameworks and measurements. Their approach similarly divided general intelligence into ten cognitive categories based on empirically validated psychological models, assigning current top systems scores substantially below educated human levels.
